What CJC-1295 is
CJC-1295 is a modified analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone. It acts at the GHRH receptor, which is a different pathway from the ghrelin receptor that ipamorelin and MK-677 work through.
The single most important thing to establish about CJC-1295 is which version you have, because two very different compounds are sold under the same name.

DAC stands for Drug Affinity Complex, a modification that binds the peptide to serum albumin and dramatically extends its circulating time. Without it, the molecule is cleared in roughly half an hour. With it, activity persists for days.
The product supplied here is the no-DAC form. Check the label rather than assuming, since suppliers are inconsistent about labelling and the name alone does not tell you.

Why it is paired with ipamorelin
CJC-1295 acts at the GHRH receptor; ipamorelin acts at the ghrelin receptor. Because the two pathways are separate, they are commonly studied together rather than as alternatives, and SerenQ supplies a combined pen for exactly that reason.
The pairing also explains why the no-DAC form is the one usually chosen for it. A pulse from Mod GRF 1-29 alongside a pulse from ipamorelin produces a defined event. Pairing a several-day DAC elevation with a two-hour ipamorelin pulse is a different experiment entirely.
Reconstitution and storage
Room temperature before adding diluent. Run the liquid down the inside wall of the vial, let it dissolve without agitation, never shake. The solution should be clear and colourless.
Sealed and dry, store at 2 to 8 °C away from light. Reconstituted, refrigerate upright and dark and never freeze. The very short half-life of the no-DAC form means there is no benefit in making up more than needed.

Is CJC-1295 the same as Mod GRF 1-29? Mod GRF 1-29 is the no-DAC form of CJC-1295. Same molecule, different name, and the terms are used interchangeably in the literature.
How do I tell which version I have? The label should state it. If it does not, ask the supplier rather than guessing, because the half-life difference is enormous.
